Spirit of Success Dealer Seminars

 

Each year John D. Roba & Associates hosts their "Spirit Of Success" dealer seminars.  John Roba and his staff, including factory personnel,  travel all around the Northeast conducting these 1-day dealer training sessions.  

One of their most popular locations is Allentown, PA, where it is not uncommon to have over 60 people from 30 different dealerships represented for the 1-day session.

2008 Presenters:

Larry Kelley will be doing an in-depth presentation on Cequent Performance Products (Tekonsha, Bargman, Fulton, Bulldog & Wesbar).  Included in this presentation will be a company background, product brands, new products for 2008 & Tekonsha brake control training.

The Tekonsha brake control segment will educate you on the differences between brake controls (timed vs. proportional) and installation techniques / troubleshooting.  In addition, Larry will discuss the top 10 technical questions that are asked of their service department.

3M has recently introduced a selection of truly innovative water filtration systems created specifically for the RV and Marine Industries.  Quickly gaining popularity, there are models which can filter water not only under the sink, but throughout the vehicle for showering and washing.  These filters are currently being installed by a growing list of OEM's.  They are raising the standard in RV water filtration and are changing the way the RV'ers look at their water quality.  There is a range of filters offering different price points and performance levels.  In addition to reducing common problems such as chlorine, odors, off-taste and dirt/rust, some 3M filters will also reduce algae, mold, bacteria and harmful cysts by 99.99%.  Unlike generic water filters, 3M systems utilize a proprietary cartridge, sold exclusively through RV and Marine channels which greatly increases your potential for future replacement cartridge sales.  Jim Zaik, 3M's National Accounts Manager will be joining us to discuss new profit opportunities with water filtration, some technical aspects of water filtration and how to offer you customers the best possible water in their RV.

KVH's global trainer, Dave Walker, will be offering TracVision training that will include a brief overview of the origins and current operation of KVH Industries then discuss how broadcast television satellites function and how KVH systems take advantage of these services. It will also include product overviews for each KVH RV product and will include a description of the installation, operation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of each system. The session will end with a discussion of the quality, features and benefits of KVH TracVision systems and why it is very profitable to be a KVH dealer. 

Carrier is the world leader in air conditioning.  Since their RV Product was released in 1998, they have set the standard for reliability & efficiency!  We will be offering a technical segment on air conditioning that will include a complete dismantling of an a/c unit along with a side-by-side comparison to our competitors.  This is a segment you don't want to miss!

Roba & Associates will be offering a new product showcase to educate you on some of the new products that are on the market.  This showcase will vary by location.
